Learn Spanish in Salamanca, Spain in the Castile León Region  (Letra Hispánica Language Institute)

Students travel to Salamanca, Spain and experience full immersion classes for three weeks.  Students will take Spanish language, culture, and civilization classes.  In addition, classes are complemented by 10 hours of cultural activities outside the classroom.  At the end of the program students will receive a diploma/transcript detailing course content.   

 

Courses at “Sampere”, a top accredited Cervantes Institute, are divided into levels, from beginning to advanced, based on the student’s knowledge of the language.  Each student will be placed according to his/her language ability.  Classes are small, approximately 12 students, and are taught by native Spanish professors with University degrees and many years of teaching experience.  

 

 After class, students can explore the city of Salamanca, its many museums, the university, galleries, art exhibits, cathedrals, a roman bridge built in the first century A.D., and other historical sites located throughout the city.

Possible added weekend excursions:  Porto, Portugal, Segovia, Toledo and more.

  

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Lead staff supervisor 

  • Room and board (3 meals a day) Students are housed with a Spanish family in double or single occupancy rooms with access to Internet

  • Laundry & cleaning

  • Ground transportation (Madrid to Salamanca)

  • Tuition for three-week study program (4 hours/day)

  • Outside student activities conducted by professors during the week:

  • Two excursions             

Optional Outside activities offered in Salamanca, which can be added to schedule: prices range from $5-$30
