My Time Abroad was founded by Mrs. Lisette Nieto Geib in the summer of 1997.  After studying at the University of Salamanca for 6 months. Her passion for language began as a child with trilingual parents teaching her Spanish, Portuguese, and English. It was also at this time in her life that her love of traveling to both South America and Europe was kindled with summer trips to Brazil and Spain. She is currently a Spanish teacher and peer ambassador for new teachers at River Bluff High School, in Lexington South Carolina.  She has been teaching for over 25 years and has her Ed.S in Curriculum Innovation and Instruction. She holds certifications in SCLead, AP Spanish, ADEPT, and as an ACTFL OPI Tester. She is passionate about revising district curriculums, exams, and inquiry-based case studies.
